.....with things that don't serve you.

When we try to hide from uncomfortable thoughts and emotions rather than feeling them and acknowledging them we don't have the opportunity to see if it's time to make changes. When we distract, numb, hide it's as if we are using an emotional epidural. We may temporarily lose the pain and discomfort but we also lose the "urge to push" some things out of our lives that need to move on.
